- Australia - Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to access and correct personal information we hold about you.
- European Union / EEA - Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may have additional rights including the right to data portability, the right to object to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- California, USA- Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights regarding the disclosure and deletion of your personal information, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising (see Section 9).
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the address in Section 12. We will respond to requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
8. Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies
We and our third-party partners use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to:
- Operate and secure the Service (essential)
- Analyze usage and performance (analytics)
- Measure advertising and show you relevant ads on third-party platforms, including retargeting (advertising)
Essential technologies are necessary for the Service to function. Analytics and advertising technologies are non-essential. Where required by law (for example in the EU, UK, and similar jurisdictions), we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking some may affect how the Service works.
9. Advertising, Analytics, and Your Choices
We work with third-party advertising and analytics partners - including major ad and analytics platforms - that use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect information about your activity on the Service and, in some cases, across other websites and apps over time. This allows us to:
- Understand how our ads perform
- Show you Breathie ads on other platforms after you have visited us (retargeting/remarketing)
- Build and match audiences, which may involve providing limited information - such as a hashed (obfuscated) email address - to an ad platform so it can show our ads to you or to similar users
The ads you see may be tailored to your interests. These partners process data under their own privacy policies, over which we have no control.
Your choices:
- Cookie consent - where a consent banner is shown, you can accept or reject non-essential (analytics and advertising) cookies and change your choice later.
- Ad platform controls - you can adjust ad personalization in your Google and Meta account settings, opt out of many participating networks via youradchoices.com (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU), or use your device's ad-tracking settings.
- Do Not Sell or Share (US) - if you are a California or similar US state resident, you may opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for targeted advertising by contacting us at hello@givebreathie.com or using any "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" control we provide.
- Global Privacy Control - where required, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).
10. Children
Breathie is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the Service, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it promptly.
Do not submit personal information about minors without appropriate parental or guardian consent.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
